About the United Way Centraide SDG
Help us improve lives locally
For a community to be great, it has to be great for everyone. The United Way Centraide SDG works with local agencies, local businesses, community leaders, government—and people like you to change lives right here in Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry, Cornwall and Akwesasne.
For more than 60 years, the United Way Centraide SDG has been at the forefront of poverty reduction in SDGCA by investing in a wide range of local programs to tackle poverty on several fronts: youth mentorship, counselling, food security, essential skills training, mental health awareness, sexual assault support, and specialized services. We ensure that every dollar donated fills gaps in care and are addressing the most pressing needs in our communities.
By supporting our 2024 gala, you are not only investing in the work we do, but you are also supporting the inspiring work of 12 agencies and 15 programs that are tackling local issues such as poverty, mental health and hunger.
